August River Band releases their second single for 2023, Beautiful Hill! This comes as a follow up to their live studio album ‘Thank You Pain’ in 2020. Back by popular demand, August River Band will return to the Bearded Lady where they will feature songs from their new debut EP, set to be released later in the year.
Prepare yourself for cinematic lyrical noir with dark tales full of imagery from a lost Cohen Bros script, odd-time metal riffs played on acoustic guitars, soaring, and swooning classical violin layers underpinned by heavy dub rock basslines, harmonies, and a heavy dose of poetic romance.
August River Band will perform an energetic set on Friday, 24th of March whilst sharing the stage with special quests, legendary Brisbane band HAM, and a West End favourite, The Holy Rollercoasters.
