Please join us for an amazing time of encouragement and blessing with Speaker Becky Lawrence! Come and be inspired by Becky's story and the teaching the Lord has given her to share with us! Becky is a wise, strong woman of God, devoted to the Lord and fully committed to Him and His purposes for her life. Having fully surrendered her life to Christ in 1975, she boldly confesses "He is the love of my life and the life to come. My eternal soul mate!" Becky is a fervent intercessor, Bible study teacher, speaker, mentor, and author, who at the age 72 had her first book of verses published entitled The Way, The Truth, and The Life. She has several other books in the works at the moment including another book of verse and a novel entitled Second Chances. With a heart to minister to women, Becky started Rebekah Ministries, a ministry of "helps" for weary women experiencing burnout in ministry and those in need of rest and inner healing. While living in Luling, Louisiana, she assisted in starting a Women's Aglow chapter and served on the Women's Aglow area board. Involved in national and international ministry, Becky's journeys have taken her far and wide. She has ministered on numerous mission trips including trips to Brazil, Mozambique, Swaziland, the Philippines, Kenya, and East Africa.
For the past seven years, Becky has led the Widow's Ministry at Healing Place Church. She is active in Women Praying for Women and She Leads Louisiana. Becky lives in Baton Rouge, and along with her writing and ministry endeavors, enjoys spending time with her two sons and their families. She is a proud grandmother of 3! Going forward Becky says, "Retirement is not an option. When I hit 60, I was recommissioned into His service! I give Him all the glory."
