Ana Ramón is a native of San Antonio and proud Texan. Ramón has worked across political campaigns and non-profit spaces for over a decade, is the former Executive Director of the Texas Senate Democratic Caucus, and served as Texas State Advocacy Director for the Intercultural Development Research Association (IDRA) which champions equal education opportunities for every student. She will talk about Annie's List's initiatives to move the needle in Texas elections.
Notably in 2019, Ramón worked with Texas State Senators and allies to keep Greg Abbott's nominee for Secretary of State from being nominated after an attempt to purge voters from the rolls. This was the first time a nominee of Governor Abbott's was not confirmed by the Texas Senate.
Since 2022, Ana has served as the Executive Director of Annie’s List (PAC) and the Annie’s List Training and Engagement Fund 501(c)(4)+
