Join us Tuesday, August 19th, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm for a tour of the Good Shepherd Montessori School (GSMS) urban farm on the corner of Jefferson and Eddy Blvds in South Bend. Theri Niemier, farm manager and regenerative agriculture education specialist, will host the evening and share about her work on the school landscape and address why farm and school partnerships are so important in these days of uncertainty with regards to environmental health and food security. Theri has worked with GSMS since the inception of the school in 2002, first at her educational farm, Bertrand Farm in Niles, MI, and fulltime with GSMS on the urban landscape since 2019.
