Our August movie is going to be August: Osage County. This is based off of a play with an all-star cast telling the story of three sisters and their mother in a Midwest home after the death of the father. The family is dysfunctional, and the family dynamics are greatly influenced by the addictions and issues of each. The menu for this month/menu will start with appetizers of Pickled Okra Grilled Cheese and Fried Chicken Livers with a Whiskey Peppercorn Gravy. Those will be followed by a salad of baby greens and fruit. The main course will have Fried trout tails, garlic twice baked potato, and succotash (lima beans and corn). Dessert will be a strawberry rhubarb pie.
