August Dallas Crafters Marathon - Please join us for the next Dallas Crafters Marathon. We meet at the Dallas Games Marathon at 910 W Parker Rd #380, Plano, TX (next to the furniture store). This is a great space for crafting, with good lighting, a six-foot table with electricity for each participant, WIFI, and comfortable chairs. The facility also boasts a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, as well as clean bathrooms. You may purchase sodas and snacks for a small fee, or you may bring your own food and beverage if you like. We are also close to local restaurants and all three big box craft stores.
This event lasts from Friday and Saturday, 9:00 AM to Midnight, and you may leave your projects overnight if you wish. Bring any project you like as long as it will fit on a 6 ft table (with electricity).
Who are we? We are a group of crafty people that like to craft together and share ideas, it's that simple. We are not Direct Sales Consultants who have classes at our Meetup to promote sales. Why crop with us? You will meet wonderful crafty people to share ideas and projects!
The cost of the event is $50. If you want to attend only one day, please use promo code FRIDAYONLY or SATURDAYONLY. One day cost is $35. We are open to adult men and women crafters above the age of 15. We can accommodate quilters, sewing groups, stampers, scrapbookers, jewelry makers, etc! However, if you plan on painting or doing a messy project, please bring a tarps or dollar store shower curtain liners to the event to protect the tables and carpet.
Please note: If you have craft items you would like to rehome, please get permission from an organizer before you load up your car. You will be responsible for taking any leftovers back with you.
