The August book for the Las Vegas Celtic Society Book Club spirits us away to a magical, dual-timeline romance in Evie Woods’ The Story Collector. Touted by Amazon as an “evocative and charming novel full of secrets and mystery”, this new novel by Ms. Woods is “full of ordinary characters with extraordinary tales to tell.” Please join us on Wednesday, August 27th at 6:00 p.m. in McMullan’s Irish Pub as we review another Celtic tale that transports us to the liminal spaces of the Irish imagination! Our space at the pub has been reserved in advance, but please do RSVP at [email protected] so we can make sure everyone is comfortable.
The Celtic Society Book Club is open to all interested, even if you don’t have time to finish the book! All are welcome to come share in the conversation and camaraderie.
