About this Event
Join the Black Historical Fiction Decades Reading Challenge! It's a unique book club and reading series diving into different decades of 20th-century Black history.
We meet monthly for OPEN DISCUSSIONS starting in February, each session dedicated a new decade, and discussing what we learned through the novels of that era.
Once registered, you'll get a curated list of novels highlighting Black experiences of the era. Read any book from the list or choose your own, then come share and learn in our open, respectful discussions.
This is a safe space for those who are learning about Black perspectivesfor the first time, as well as a safe space for Black stories to be told and Black history to be learned. We hope that participants walk away from each meeting having learned something new.
Instruction & discussions by Shay Miranda.
