AUDITION INFORMATION:
Please prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue (not from the show). You may be asked to stop if you exceed the time limit.
Please bring your calendar of all known conflicts between February 21 and June 28.
Rehearsals will generally be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as Sunday afternoons. Full attendance is required during the final three weeks of rehearsal (5/24/2026 - 6/10/2026).
Non-Equity/Non-Union. Range: $125 - $200 stipend paid at the end of the run.
CASTING: Actors of all races are strongly encouraged to audition for every role.
CHRISTOPHER BOONE
(Male-presenting or nonbinary teen/young adult performer, able to play 15)
Christopher is exceptionally intelligent, logical, and detail-focused. Character notes: Written as autistic; actors of all neurotypes encouraged.
ED BOONE
(Male-presenting, 35–55)
Christopher’s father. Ed struggles with communication but is fiercely protective.
JUDY BOONE
(Female-presenting, 35–55)
Christopher’s mother. She loves her son deeply but often feels overwhelmed.
SIOBHAN
(Female-presenting or nonbinary, 25–45)
Christopher’s teacher and mentor. Calm, patient, empathetic, and a grounding presence. Often narrates or interprets Christopher’s thoughts for the audience.
ENSEMBLE ROLES (6 ACTORS)
Each ensemble member will perform multiple roles, including at least one featured speaking part. Members will collaborate in creating various locations and elements of the story and will remain on stage for most of the production. These roles are highly physical and require movement.
