The Stratford Shakespeare Trust will be bringing The Book of Will to the festival stage in 2026 for the New Zealand Premiere of this hit play by Lauren Gunderson, to be directed by Dixon Lobb.Plot: After his death Shakespeare's friends attempt to assemble his plays into a single book that will become the first Folio, unexpectedly transforming literary and theatrical history and overcoming numerous expected obstacles. Sharp, witty and eyeopening, this play is both entertaining and fun giving a new perspective on the Bard’s work.
