Auditions for Jane Martin's Talking With - a reader's theater celebration for International Women's Day!The show consists of 11 amazing monologues expressing a unique and quirky life experience. A baton twirler, a laboring mother, an actress, a snake charmer, and a cowgirl are just a few of the personas you'll meet in this show. Talking With is an amazing opportunity for actresses to stretch their acting wings and portray a fun and quirky character.
Roles are available for 11 women, character ages 18-65. Auditions will consist of cold reading's and directed activity.
Reader's theaters are a great way to take advantage of a performance opportunity without having to make a huge time commitment. There will be 4 rehearsals, minimal costuming, and best of all: NO MEMORIZATION!! It's a dramatic reading with the script in front of you at all times!
