Plot Summary
Set in a windowless dance studio in Shirley, VT. Five strangers gather to take a 6-week “Adult Creative Drama” class. Marty takes the students through a variety of acting exercises. In one exercise, each of them has a monologue that tells the life story of one of the other students. Each of the five reveals themselves and tiny wars are waged. A beautifully crafted diorama, a petri dish in which we see, with humorous detail and clarity, the quintet’s loves and losses.
