Synopsis
A nurse and activist finds herself on the run, wanted for murder. Pursued by authorities who choose to ignore a clear case of self-defense due to her Indian heritage and influence from sinister figures from the shadowy criminal underworld, she turns to the greatest investigative minds that London has to offer for help, Miss Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Dorothy Watson. Miss Holmes Returns continues the thrilling adventures of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s gender swapped heroines from one of FPCT most popular shows ever. Set against the backdrop of true events of Victorian England, when women are struggling to gain their independence and their full rights, these unconventional characters dare to challenge societal norms by providing an unusual, but necessary, service.
Brad Norris is a Baltimore-based Director whose past credits include Neverwhere, Sally McCoy, and 13 Dead Husbands at Cohesion Theatre Company, Airness and Hotel Cassiopeia at CCBC, and Miss Holmes at Fells Point Corner Theatre. He has been a producer and designer all over Baltimore and is currently the Managing Director at FPCT.
