The enduring tale of family, friendship, love, and adventure follows the four March sisters in a new adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s novel. Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy play, quarrel, and dream of their futures in a nation torn apart by the Civil War. Jo, as our storyteller, finds herself at odds with society’s expectations and the things she can achieve as a woman. Navigating hardships and heartbreak, it is a tender, playful coming of age story that generations will find surprising, exciting, and empowering.

AUDITION DETAILS
Director Lisa Kornetsky will hold auditions at the Racine Theatre Guild. No appointments necessary and you need to only attend one of the days of auditions. Auditions consist of a cold reading from the script. Scripts may be checked out in advance from the box office with a $10 deposit, which will be refunded when the script is returned.
Individuals of all levels of experience, ethnicities, and backgrounds are invited to audition. Cast and crew members are not required to be vaccinated, however, vaccinations are encouraged.
Rehearsal Schedule: Rehearsals will begin the first week of September. RTG works try to coordinate everyone’s schedule and respect people’s time, so typically not everyone is called to every rehearsal. Most often, rehearsals will be Monday – Thursday starting at 6:30 p.m. with some weekends too.
