Encore Theatrical Company is excited to announce auditions for the beloved musical **"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."** We invite performers aged 18 and up to join us for this fun and heartwarming show. All roles are open.
**Audition Details:**
Date & Time: Oct. 7 & 8, 6-9pm
Location: 2808 W Andrew Johnson Hwy Morristown TN
**Audition Requirements:**
- Please prepare **16-32 bars** of a song in the style of the show (musical theater, light, and character-driven).
- Bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided.
- Headshots and resumes are encouraged but not required.
- Callback music will be sent out via email to all who register. Please be prepared to sing any of these selections if asked at your initial audition. You may also be asked to read from the script.
**Characters:**
- Charlie Brown(Baritone): The lovable, sometimes insecure, and optimistic protagonist.
-Snoopy(Tenor): Charlie Brown’s imaginative and loyal dog, full of personality and humor.
- Linus Van Pelt(Baritone/Tenor): Charlie Brown’s blanket-carrying best friend, thoughtful but young at heart.
- Lucy Van Pelt(Alto/Mezzo-Soprano): Linus’s sister, bossy, opinionated, and a bit of a bully, but with moments of vulnerability.
- Schroeder (Tenor): A Beethoven-loving pianist, admired by Lucy, serious but kind-hearted.
- Sally Brown (Soprano): Charlie Brown’s little sister, cute, funny, and sweetly cynical.
**Additional Information:**
- This production is for ages 18 and up only.
- No dance call will be part of this audition process.
- Please choose one time slot below. Each audition and callback will last around 1 hour.
