Come audition for Nashua Theatre Guild's Shakespeare in the Park, Twelfth Night or, What You Will! Auditions will be Sunday, April 12th at 12:30 and Tuesday, April 15th at 6:30 at the Nashua Public Library Theater(lower level). Callbacks will be as needed Thursday, April 17th at 6:30. The performances will be July 26th-Agust 3rd at Greely Park in Nashua. At auditions you will be asked to perform one of the two attached monologues and slides will be provided.Rehearsals will be on Mondays and Wednesdays at Nahusa Public Library May-July (called as needed) and add Saturdays in the park closer to show dates.
Please familiarize yourself with the play and characters prior to auditions. Pick one of the two monologues attached to perform at auditions (whichever speaks to you most). It does not need to be memorized. Please see the note if you would like to audition for Feste’s character. Actors of any gender will be considered for any role they are excited to play.

Viola (Cesario) - (F, teens - 30s) Shipwrecked on the shores of Illyria and separated from her twin brother Sebastian, Viola disguises herself as a male (Cesario) and discovers a deeper connection to her identity
Duke Orsino - (M, 20s - 40s) count of Illyria, object of Viola’s affection, Orsino is over-the-top, blinded by love for Olivia
Olivia - (F, 20s -40s) A Countess of Illyria who is mourning the loss of her brother and father, has sworn off men for the time being and is thoroughly annoyed by Orsino and her drunken Uncle Toby, falls in love with “Cesario”
Malvolio - (M, 30+) Olivia’s Steward, dreams of marrying her, very uptight
Maria - (F, 20s+) Olivia’s maid and close friend, starts some mischief
Fool (Feste) - (Any, teens+) feisty and charismatic, pushes the bar with Olivia, sings for Olivia and Orsino throughout the play
Sir Toby - (M, 40s+) Olivia’s uncle who is often drunk and enjoys some mischief
Sir Andrew - (M, 20s+) Sir Toby’s friend, trying to woo Olivia, also enjoys some mischief
Sebastian - (M, teens - 30s) Viola’s twin brother, separated from her during a shipwreck
Antonio - (M, 30s+) Sebastian’s friend, wanted in Illyria, looks after Sebastian following the shipwreck
Valentine - gentleman serving Orsino
Captain - brings Viola to Illyria
Priest - (M, 30s+) performs wedding
Curio - Orsino’s officer
