On January 11th & 12th, 2026, Mercury Players will hold auditions for their production of The Threepenny Opera at the Bartell Theatre, 113 E Mifflin St Madison. Callbacks will be held January 13th.Auditions are 7-9pm. Please arrive on time!
Be ready to communicate any scheduling conflicts between Feb 15-May 9.
Rehearsals will begin at the end of February.

Also this is not actually an opera so, a) you donât actually need to be an opera singer b) unlike opera there are speaking roles too, c) in summation: itâs a musical with opera in the title but it is not an opera
