The Red Box
Hello ladies and gentlemen I am so excited to announce that we are about to embark on our very first Brailroad Production, and how fitting it should be a whodunit…
"The Red Box" by Rex Stout lovingly adapted for the stage by Joseph Goodrich, is a classic Nero Wolfe mystery. The story follows detective Nero Wolfe and his assistant, Archie Goodwin, as they investigate the death of a model who was poisoned by a box of chocolates. As Wolfe unravels the case, he uncovers a web of family secrets, jealousy, and betrayal, leading to a dramatic and unexpected conclusion.
What I truly love about the Nero Wolfe stories is that it combines the classic murder mystery feel of an Agatha Christie with the snappy dialogue and repartée of a noir a kin to Raymond Chandler.
*PLEASE NOTE*
This show will be performed at STAGEtwo Productions in Evansville, IN. Nov 8-10
The majority of rehearsals will be conducted in Owensboro, KY.
