The Caucasian Chalk Circle is a simple but exciting story of a young kitchen maid, Grusha, who rescues an abandoned baby in a palace revolution and faces many dangers and adventures before she and the boy are hunted down and returned to the city for a final dramatic climax. Considered one of the greatest plays of the 20th Century, this is one of Brecht’s most popular and successful plays. It has a large cast with great roles for men and women, of all ages! Most will be taking on several roles! This will be Pranksters’ first production at The Bellerby Studio, G Live and the dates are 11th-14th March 2026.
