In this beautifully haunting play based on Edgar Lee Masters' “Spoon River Anthology”, the former residents of the town of Spoon River reach out from beyond the grave to examine life with a longing for what might have been. As the citizens reflect on the dreams, secrets, and regrets of their lives, they paint a gritty and honest portrait of the town as all of their pasts are illuminated. Roles available for teens and adults
No preparation necessary as we will be doing cold readings from the script.
Each auditioner, technician, and those interested in volunteering will need to complete our Participation Form.
Auditions are located at the TBA Studio (635 W 54th Ave). Please enter through the back of the property. Parking is available in the lot next to our building and on the street.
If you cannot make the auditions on Tuesday and still wish to audition, please contact us.
There will be a callback audition on Wednesday, January 29th at 6pm at the TBA Studio.
REQUIRED DATES AND TIMES - Please read carefully and note for your calendar.
Performance Dates: March 27-30
• Technical rehearsals start on Sunday, March 23rd at the Sydney Laurence Theatre. Conflicts are not accepted the entire week of March 23-30.
• Performances are Thursday, March 27 at 7pm; Friday, March 28 at 7pm; Saturday, March 29 at 3pm & 7pm; Sunday, March 30 at 3pm.
• Mandatory strike & load out after the show on Sunday, March 30th.
• Call times for performances are 2 hours before show time.
• Rehearsals are generally Monday-Friday from 6pm-9pm with some Saturdays & Sundays.
• All performances & tech rehearsals take place at the Sydney Laurence Theatre.
If you are under the age of 18 (or still in high school), you must have parent approval to participate in TBA Theatre productions.
