Harrington conspires with his lover Suzy to K*ll his wife Janet and collect on
the insurance money. But Max’s plans are thrown into disarray when Janet’s
cousin Mary arrives with news that Janet is set to inherit a huge fortune.
Characters
Max Harrington: Quick thinking Max schemes with Suzy to K*ll his wife but
as events unravel it becomes clear the only person he cares about is himself.
Max and Suzy share a kiss and carry Janet’s ‘body’ together.
Suzy Stevens: Adoring Suzy is happy to go along with anything Max says,
including pretending to be Janet to her visiting cousin. Max and Suzy share a
kiss and carry Janet’s ‘body’ together.
Janet Harrington: Seemingly naive Janet appears to be the victim of
everyone’s scheming, but in the end, she has the last laugh. Janet speaks
with a slight lisp.
Edgar Chambers: Max and Janet’ neighbour, Edgar is an aspiring crime
writer who is rather too fond ouzo to make much progress. Edgar must be
confident in carrying a ‘body’ across the stage alone.
Mary Ticklewell: Scheming and overbearing, Mary is determined that cousin
Janet be removed to clear her way to inherit the fortune. Mary moves Suzy’s
‘body’ with George.
George Ticklewell: downtrodden George helplessly follows his wife’s lead,
but has moments of confidence as the scheme developed. George moves
Suzy’s ‘body’ .
