Omigod, you guys.... Don't miss your chance to be part of this fabulously fun, award-winning musical! Auditions are held February 11, 12, and 13 at Theatre on the Run, and will consist of singing and dancing. (The director may ask you to read a few sides from the script.)
Sign-ups are required; the sign-up list will go live on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 on The Arlington Players' website.
Auditionees are asked to prepare 16-32 bars of a song that you feel best showcases your voice and your ability to act through song (the song does not have to be in the style of the show). Please bring sheet music in your correct and preferred key. An accompanist will be provided; pre-recorded accompaniment tracks will NOT be permitted. Please note that should your audition piece run very long, we may cut you off when we’ve seen what we need to see!
Please be prepared to bring a headshot and theatrical resume (if you have them), and a complete list of any conflicts that may arise during the rehearsal/performance process. Rehearsals and performances will take place beginning February 18th, 2025 through April 27th, 2025. Please review the audition form for more detailed scheduling information.
Call-backs, by invitation only, will take place on Saturday, February 15.
If you are unable to attend the initial audition dates but are available for in-person callbacks on February 15, you may submit a video audition no later than Tuesday, February 11 at 9:30 PM EST. Please do not submit a video audition if you are not able to attend callbacks. (You cannot be cast without the production team having seen you in person at least once during the process.)
