The Francis Wilson Playhouse is holding auditions for our Feb/March production of Disney's Newsies on Sunday October 12 and Monday October 13th at 7pm.Auditioners are asked to bring a musical theatre song with sheet music, maximum cut of 32 bars. You can also choose to sing from the Newsies score. No tracks or a capella auditions.
There will be a dance audition for the Newsie roles. You may also be asked to read from the script.
Casting will be in mid-October in order to set up Dance Workshops in November/December. These will involve learning the intense choreography required for the show. Main Rehearsals are Jan/Feb with Performances for 3 weekends: February 12th to March 1st, 2026.
