DANCE PRESCRIPTION, an audition-entry-only extension program for talented and dedicated dancers. DANCE PRESCRIPTION is run on fortnightly Sundays and is tailored to accelerate a dancer's technical ability, artistic vocabulary and overall health and well-being, as well as to educate dancers about injury prevention and above all make their self confidence sky rocket! DANCE PRESCRIPTION uses jazz technique to teach dancers the power of consistent practice, goal setting and an unstoppable support network.This Accelerated Extension Program is like that of a Mathematics or English tutor for school work, and is to run in conjunction with the dancer’s regular dance school training, not replace it.
The DANCE PRESCRIPTION program consists of fortnightly group technique and targeted classical conditioning classes run on weekends. Classes are held on alternate Sundays and private lessons are offered on an occasional basis to those students showing promise in class.
Audition dates are as follows:
Saturday December 21st:
9.00am - 9.50am: Syd 01 - Junior age group (11 years and under) BOOKED OUT
10.00am - 10.50am: Syd 02 - Senior age group (12 years and older) BOOKED OUT
11.00am - 11.50am: Syd 03 - Junior age group (11 years and under) BOOKED OUT
12.00pm - 12.50pm: Syd 04 - Senior age group (12 years and older) BOOKED OUT
1.00pm - 1.50pm: Syd 05 - ALL AGES
2.00pm - 2.50pm: Syd 06 - ALL AGES
3.00pm - 3.50pm: Syd 07 - ALL AGES
