Seeking actors from diverse backgrounds, including all genders, ethnicities, ages, abilities, and identities; ages given are based on the script. There is flexibility in the ages of the younger Gilbreth children. Everyone is welcome! The show dates are December 12-14 and 19-21.

MR. GILBRETH (DAD): The patriarch of the family. A successful man who is proud of his wife and family as well as his business accomplishments, and who runs his family
like a business. Playable age: Mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
MRS. GILBRETH (MOTHER):The matriarch of the family. Gracious and attentive, a loving mother. She is also a psychologist. Playable age: Mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
MISS BRILL: A teacher who has no love for the children. Playable age 20+
MRS. FITZGERALD: The housekeeper. A kind woman that is devoted to the family.
JOE SCALES: A cheerleader. Very cocky and interested in dating Anne.
Playable age: 17
LARRY: A nice looking, clean cut boy interested in Anne. Playable age: 17
ANNE: The oldest Gilbreth child. Sweet natured, yet stubborn Playable age: 17
FRANK: A Gilbreth child. The Co-Narrator. Playable age: 16
ERNESTINE: A Gilbreth child. Also the Co-Narrator. Playable age: 15
MARTHA: A Gilbreth child. Playable age: 14
Other Gilbreth Children: MARY, ELIZABETH, BILL,
LILLIAN, FRED, DAN, JACKIE, ROBERTA, and JANE. Playable ages variable from age 6-13.
DR. BURTON: The family doctor. 40+
Auditions will be readings from the script. If any accommodations or zoom auditions are necessary, please contact Playcrafters before audition dates to facilitate arrangements.
Rehearsals will begin mid October. The rehearsal schedule will be finalized after casting; please bring any conflicts to auditions. Actors should be available for all of tech week and performance dates. Performance dates are December 12-14 and 19-21
