At long last, Cyrano’s can now announce our first show planned for Season 2025, CABARET!CABARET

- Performances are Thursdays - Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 3pm.
Rehearsals: First rehearsal is December 3, 2024.
'Cabaret' is a fierce, meaty musical that pushes the boundaries and literally holds “the mirror up to nature.” 'Cabaret' explores the decadence of Berlin during the Weimar Republic amid the rising threat of Nazism. It tells the story of two doomed romances set against the emergence of anti-Semitism and fascism in Germany.
Set in 1929-1930 Berlin, the Blackbox theatre space at Cyrano’s Theatre, now the Kit Kat Club, transforms.
'Cabaret' auditions are scheduled for Saturday, November 16th from 3-7pm and Sunday, November 17th from 11am-4pm.
Callbacks are scheduled for Monday, November 18th, and Tuesday, November 19th from 6-9:30pm.
WHAT TO PREPARE
READING: sides from the script will be available at auditions and uploaded to website soon. Script in full is available at CTC website now – please read!
MUSIC: Prepare a 1-2 minute song for your audition, preferably a piece of musical theatre. Come prepared to play an accompaniment track with your audition. A Bluetooth speaker will be provided for you to play a track from. Alternatively, email an audio track ahead of time to [email protected].
