Creative Greensboro will host auditions for "Into Shakespeare’s Woods, or What the Puck is Happening?” from 7-9 pm, June 17-18, in the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie St. Auditions will be held by appointment only. Visit creativegreensboro.com to schedule an audition.Creative Greensboro seeks a racially-diverse, multi-generational cast ages 12 and older. A short, memorized Shakespeare monologue is preferred for audition. Headshots and resumes are recommended but not required. In-person rehearsals will be held on evenings and weekends as schedules permit, with performances on August 8-11. The Summer Shakespeare program is a volunteer performance opportunity.
“Into Shakespeare’s Woods, or What the Puck is Happening?” by William Shakespeare and directed by guest artist David Seebren, will be performed outdoors in various locations at the Greensboro Arboretum. Actors and audiences will travel together to find out what is really happening in Shakespeare’s Woods.
