Thalian Association Community Theatre will hold auditions for the play A few Good Men on Monday December 16 at 7 pm. Auditions will be held at the Community Arts Center, 120 S. 2nd Street in downtown Wilmington. The play, directed by Cathy Street with assistant direction by Cat Thomas, will run at Historic Thalian Hall February 7 through February 16. Please prepare a memorized monologue no more than two minutes in length.
Although the actor may choose what to audition with, a selection of monologues is available at the Community Arts Center upon request.

If needed, callbacks will be Tuesday December 17, 6 pm, at the Community Arts Center. Please be prepared to read from a provided script.
Actors of all races and ethnicities are welcome and encouraged to audition for our entire season! All roles are available. *Those cast in this production may be asked to get a military style haircut. *
Please note: TACT is a community theatre that produces shows requiring various skill levels per show. While we cannot guarantee that everyone will be cast, we encourage all performers of different skill levels and talents to audition. People new to Thalian Association are always welcome!
Pfc. William T. Santiago: About 19 years old, sincere & sensible
Lance Cpl. Harold Dawson: About 19 years old: stoic, serious, bold, aware, intimidating even in silence, caring in command.
Pfc. Louden Downey: About 19 years old. Obedient and respectful. His intelligence is slightly below average.
Lt. j.g. Daniel Kaffee: Late 20s. Easy-going and quick-witted. He is good-looking, talented, and smart; and he knows it. He tends to think that he knows everything.
Lt. Cmdr. Joanne Galloway: Early 30s. All-business. ALMOST as fully composed as she would like to be but, usually, more composed than others tend to think she is. Her quick wit tends to take others by surprise.
Lt. j.g. Sam Weinberg: Mid 30s. Laid back, he does his job with reasonable diligence, but he is a family man first and foremost.
Capt. Isaac Whitaker: Mid 40s to early 50s. Smart and sensible, not strict
Capt. Matthew Markinson: Late 40s to early 50s. Stoic, logical, and strictly military. Served in Counter-Intelligence for 17 years.
Lt. Col. Nathan Jessep: Late 30s to mid 40s. Self-confident to-a-fault. Bold, Intelligent, Ultra-Military, Tyrannical
Lt. Jonathan James Kendrick: Late 20s to early 30s. Stoic, fanatically religious, average intelligence but believes himself to be much smarter than he is.
Capt. Jack Ross: Late 20s to early 30s. A nice guy but not a sucker. Logical and sensible.
Cpl. Jeffrey Howard: Early 20s. Probably likable to fellow Marines, but snide to those outside the Corps.
Capt. Julius Alexander Randolph: Mid 40s and up. Smart, sensible, fair.
Cmdr. Walter Stone: Mid-late 40s. Sensible but easily swayed
TWO ADDITIONAL ROLES: Sentry, Lawyers, Marines, MPs, and etc.
