ABOUT THE PRODUCTION AND VENUE
Hypothesis: a Theatre Lab presents "Exit 16" by Jamie Lin Pratt, April 10-14, 17-20, 2025 at the Arts Asylum. Hypothesis differs from other companies in that it takes audience feedback after each performance and uses that feedback to inform changes in the production for the second week of performances. Actors will be encouraged, but not required, to participate in nightly talk backs as often as they are available.
Rehearsals will begin Mid-March with the exact schedule to be determined by cast and crew availability. All rehearsals will take place on weekday evenings or weekends and will adhere to Equity requirements regarding length and breaks. All roles are paid.
The Arts Asylum is ADA accessible, however accessing the stage requires a step up. The dressing rooms with lighted mirrors and private bathrooms are only accessible by a short set of stairs. Actors unable to traverse steps will be provided an alternate changing area and a temporary ramp to access the stage, but they will have to use the restrooms in the lobby.
Cast and crew must be vaccinated for Covid19. Anyone experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms will be required to wear a mask at all times during rehearsals and while backstage.
