No monologues are required, however, auditioners are welcome to prepare a short one to two minute comedic monologue if you like. Additionally, auditioners will be asked to read from provided sides from the play.

Tech Week begins Sunday, March 8th, with performances Thursday March 12 - Sunday March 15.
Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Tuesday, January 20th from 6:30 - 8:30. Location primarily at community center and secondarily at Main Street or alternate local location.
The Story:
Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiances, are hot on their trail. They go undercover as a nun and a priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down. Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves.
The available roles include:
Sister Philamena
Female - Playing 40s–80s - One of the three nuns who lives at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing. Has secretly been making wine for several years with Sister Augusta in order to keep the convent open. Devout and dedicated to her calling. Joyful and humorous. Incapable of lying.
Sister Augusta
Female - Playing 40s–70s - A no-nonsense nun who lives at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing and has been helping Sister Phimaena make wine. She is practical, grounded, and delightfully blunt.
Sister Mary Catherine
Female -Playing 20s–40s - Young, energetic, and idealistic novice nun sent to the convent to finish her training. She believes wholeheartedly in the convent’s mission and tends to take things at face value - often with unintentionally comic results.
Father Chenille
Male - Playing 40s–80s - Earnest and well-meaning priest of the parish next door to the convent.. Often bewildered by the chaos around him. Adds to the confusion with his own misunderstandings.
Mother Superior
Female - Playing 60s–80s - The traditional, dignified leader of the convent. She is deeply committed to order, appearances, and religious propriety. Authoritative and commanding,she hates alcohol, especially wine.
Sally
Female - Playing 30s - 50s - A local reporter on assignment from a local newspaper to investigate a secret at the convent. .Used to be engaged to Paul. Bright, curious, and well-intentioned. A woman with her eye on the future.
Paul
Male - Playing 30s–50s -A newspaper reporter. Co-worker and former fiancé of Sally. He would do anything for her. He’s a good writer, but his conscience sometimes gets in the way of his reporting.
George
Male - Playing 30s–60s - The convent groundskeeper and handyman. Naive, idealistic and endlessly earnest. Often caught in the crossfire of mistaken identities and schemes.
