Fireside Ascension by John P. Bray (Athens, GA)
(10-minute play)
Bob and Rhonda escape to their fireside during a zombie apocalypse. Bob finally learns why George Lazenby is indeed the best James Bond.
Character Descriptions:
BOB, 40s-50s, married to Rhonda. Wears a robe and holds a shotgun
RHONDA, 40s-50s, married to Bob. Wears a robe and holds a completely different kind of weapons (crossbow, etc.; it can really be anything, even if it’s something homemade and looks nothing like a weapon)

The Poppy Party by Dana Schwartz (Los Angeles, CA)
(one-act)
After one too many mimosas, Enid was talked into hosting a Poppy Party at her mother's cabin. Surrounded by her Ride-or-Dies and with help from the Poppy Hostess, they must navigate the drama and challenges of trying to figure out how to wear the Poppy Convertible Dress. As well as minor stuff like love, children, careers and midlife crises.

Sharon the gun for hire
(These women are longtime friends, they’ve watched each other evolve into their current states but can still see the young women they once were. They speak in shorthand and they have that rhythm that comes with familiarity.)

(10-minute play)
Voting has consequences, and in this new world, The Stork Patrol holds voters responsible for their beliefs and values.

The Wish by Crystal Adaway (Alexandria, VA)
(one-act)
Barbara has been wishing for the same impossible thing for twelve long, bitter years. For her 50th birthday, Barbara's plucky daughter, Bonnie, concocts an elaborate scheme to make that wish finally come true. Will her combative sister, Lyla, bring it all crashing down? This dark comedy explores the twists and turns of family dynamics, choices, and accountability.
Character Descriptions:
Bonnie Conrad: A bubbly woman, late-20s,
Lyla Conrad: An athletic woman, around 30, lesbian, Bonnie's older sister
Barbara Conrad: A once-beautiful woman, 50s ,Bonnie's & Lyla's mother, has a haughty Southern accent
Richard Conrad: A slight, scrappy man in his mid-50s-60s, Bonnie's & Lyla's father
