🎠Auditions for Shakespeare in Springtime: The Winter’s Tale 🌸The Batavia Players are excited to announce auditions for our Shakespeare in Springtime production, The Winter’s Tale! This beloved Shakespearean romance about love, jealousy, and redemption is getting a bold, modern twist—featuring dance, stunning costuming, and music inspired by today’s top hits and favorite dance club anthems. Prepare to be amazed by a production filled with surprises, glam, and characters that are instantly recognizable in today’s world. We will be casting around 20 people.

📅 Audition Dates:
Saturday February 8th from 10:00am - 12:00 pm, 1:00pm - 3:00pm

March 21 & 22 at 7:30 PM

🎤 Audition Requirements:
Please be prepared to read from the script for a number of parts. Scripts will be available 90 minutes prior for perusal.
There are no sides to prepare.
Some cast members will be required to dance. Dance ability to be determined at auditions but dance ability is not necessary for being cast.

We welcome performers of all experience levels, from seasoned Shakespeare enthusiasts to those new to the Bard. Come share your talent and help bring this magical story to life!
