"Assassins" is a darkly comedic exploration of the individuals who attempted—or succeeded—in assassinating U.S. Presidents. This musical does not support or condone their actions but delves into their motivations, frustrations, and distorted sense of the American Dream. With Stephen Sondheim's sharp and witty score, the show blends humour and tragedy, balancing moments of joy with profound pain and disillusionment.
