AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding An Interactive Dinner Theatre Experience

Broadway Players is thrilled to announce auditions for Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, the legendary immersive comedy where the audience doesn’t just watch the show, they attend the wedding.
This high-energy production follows Tony Nunzio and Tina Vitale on their big day, complete with ceremony, reception, dancing, family drama, and unexpected twists. Audience members become wedding guests as eccentric relatives, friends, and exes bring chaos, comedy, and heart to the celebration.
If you enjoy character-driven comedy, audience interaction, and a fast-paced rehearsal process, this show is for you.
About the Show
Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding is performed like a real wedding. The ceremony takes place onstage, followed by a reception where actors mingle with guests, improvise, dance, and advance the story. Every performance is slightly different depending on the audience energy.
This is an ensemble-heavy production with lots of opportunities for bold character choices and playful interaction.
Roles Available
(Ages are flexible! All casting is open and inclusive.)
TONY – Groom, mid 20s. Handsome, charming, rowdy, lovable. Just trying to survive his own wedding.
TINA – Bride, mid 20s. Pretty, headstrong, emotional, party girl energy with a tough streak.
BARRY – Best man, late 20s. Everybody’s buddy, smooth talker, chaotic fun.
CONNIE – Maid of honor, late 20s. Jaded, sarcastic, practical, carrying emotional baggage.
DOMINIC – Usher, mid 20s. Party animal with a heart of gold.
DONNA – Bridesmaid, mid 20s. Loud, funny, confident. Strong singing preferred.
JOHNNY – Usher, around 20. Tony’s younger brother. A sweet flirt.
MARINA – Bridesmaid, mid 20s. Insecure tag-along, eager to belong.
JOSEPHINA – Tina’s mom, 40s–50s. Strong-willed, dramatic, believes she sacrifices everything for her family.
LUIGI – Tina’s great uncle, late 70s (can be played younger). Old-world gentleman. Speaks Italian or stylized “Italian.”
JOEY – Tina’s brother, around 30. Loves showbiz, expressive but grounded.
SISTER ALBERT MARIA – Tina’s cousin, mid 20s. Family oddball.
TONY NUNZIO SR. – Tony’s dad, 50s. Loud, charming, sleazy confidence. Thinks he’s royalty.
MADELINE MONROE – Tony Sr.’s girlfriend, 20s. Attractive, tough, flashy.
GRANDMA NUNZIO – Tony’s grandma, 70s (can be played younger). Spirited, quirky, unpredictable.
MICHAEL JUST – Late 20s. Tina’s ex-boyfriend. Recently “turned his life around.” A bit intense.
FATHER MARK – Priest, 30s. Thinks he’s hip and one of the gang.
SAL ANTONUCCI – Photographer, 40s. Pushy, eccentric, bored with his job.
VINNIE BLACK – Caterer, late 40s. Amateur comedian, used-car-salesman energy.
LORETTA BLACK – Vinnie’s wife, late 40s. Tired, worn down, quietly funny.
DONNY DULCE – Late 20s. Sexy leader of the wedding band. Excellent pop singer.
CELESTE ROMANO – Keyboardist/vocalist for the band. Bold, flirtatious, confident.
RICK DeMARCO – 20s. Videographer and Joey’s boyfriend.
Also Needed: Bass player and drummer (must be willing to act and interact with audience).
What We’re Looking For

• Willingness to improv within structure
• Big personalities welcome
• Musicians encouraged
• No prior immersive theatre experience required
