Audition Dates:
Dec 2nd - 6:30pm to 9:00pm

Roles Available:
KATURIAN: (Any Gender – Any Age – Any Race): A writer of gruesome short stories often involving children, is surprised and confused as to why they were brought in by detectives for questioning. S/he cares deeply about the brother Michal and about saving the stories from destruction
TUPOLSKI: (Any Gender – Any Age – Any Race): The lead detective and the “good cop” in the interrogation. Cold and uncaring, they self describe as ‘detached from the people they aim to save’. They supervise Ariel.
ARIEL: (Any Gender – Any Age – Any Race): A brutal and violent detective who has a vendetta against anyone who commits crimes against children because of abuse in their own childhood.
MICHAL: (M, Any Age – Any Race): Katurian’s older brother, who is “slow to get things” following his years of abuse at the hands of his parents. He is also taken into jail by the detectives.
FEMALE CHORUS/MOTHER: (F, Any Age – Any Race): Looking for someone to play various mothers in the reenactment scenes.
MALE CHORUS//FATHER: (M, Any – Any Race): Looking for someone to play various fathers and other roles in the reenactment scenes.
What to Prepare:
-Please prepare a 30 sec or less contemporary monologue, if no monologue is prepared you will be allowed to cold read a selection from the script
-Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script as well
-Call backs will be notified by 10pm on 12/3 and sides provided that same evening.
-Cast List will be Posted on 12/5 @ 12pm on Gem Rock’s Website.
