✨ Requirements:
• Outside dancers: Minimum 4 years of belly dance training.
• Current Academy students:
• At least 1 year of training under the MDA method plus a strong background in other dance forms.
• Or, 2+ years of training under the MDA method.

The MDA Girls and MDA Apprentices are the heart of the Middle Eastern Dance Academy of CT—the state’s premier professional training center for Raks Sharqi (belly dance). As members of this elite group, you are more than dancers; you are the hand-selected ambassadors of Kelvia’s vision, chosen to perform alongside her on international stages and selected to train with the top leading professional in the industry.
This prestigious multi international award winning dance team, sets the standard within the dance community, championing women’s growth and collaboration.
