Open to kids ages 6-16
This is a combo class that combines a skills class with a fully staged one-act musical.
'The Grunch' is a musical that tells the story of an enthusiastic theater club that finds itself without a leader. The kids rally to come up with the best play ever conceived. Little do they know, one cast mate hates theater and will do everything in their power to ruin the play and destroy the theater program forever. Every song in this fun musical is a catchy send up to a beloved showtune. This love letter to musical theater might be the most singable musical you will ever encounter.
**All kids who register will get a speaking/singing role. No experience is necessary.**
For the first month kids will become familiar with the play, music & characters. They work on audition skills and team building. Every kid is guarnateed a part so the audition is low-stress. Rehearsals are weekly until performance in April.
