Laughter, lines, and little storytellers! Creative Greensboro is thrilled to invite young performers to audition for its beloved annual production, Short Tales for Children.
Auditions will take place Thursday and Friday, December 11–12, from 6–8 pm at the Stephen D. Hyers Theatre, inside the Greensboro Cultural Center. Calling all kids ages 7–15: whether you're a seasoned stage star or brand new to acting, this is your moment! No experience? No problem—every child who auditions will be cast in the show. The “Short Tales for Children” program is an annual collaboration between Creative Greensboro and UNCG Theater. This year features short original plays written by members of the Greensboro Playwrights Forum that will be directed by UNCG School of Theater Education students under the mentorship of Performing Arts Coordinator, Todd Fisher and UNCG Professor, Joshua Purvis.
