How can audio description help us all look at and appreciate art?
About this Event

Audio description forms part of museums' access programmes to support blind and partially blind people. In this event, we will explore how audio description and other forms of creative writing (including poetry), can shape our engagement with art and objects. This is a focus group, and participation is expected, but no preparation is needed.

This event is for KCL students only, organised by The Liberal Arts Society in association with the Classics Society.

In gratitude for your attendance and participation in this focus group, a £25 voucher will be sent after the session.

Full attendance from the starting time is necessary to receive the voucher. The room is booked for 2 hours, but the session will probably be nearer 90 minutes. This is the same session as a focus group on 12 June, please do not book both.

Before the session, attendees will need to return the consent form via email to the organiser. The organiser will email you at your KCL email after you have booked a place. Please also contact her with any access requirements [email protected] .

Please use your KCL email address to sign up and for all communications regarding this event.
