Audio Air Force’s annual holiday audio show this year will feature some classics as well as original material all with a holiday theme. First off is an episode of the "Superman" radio show from December 1948. This will be followed by an episode of the "The Bickersons" made famous in the late 40's-early 50's by Don Ameche and Frances Langford originally aired on network radio in December 1946. Both of these classic shows will use the original network radio scripts.
Also in the Audio Air Force holiday show will be some material written specifically for performance by members of our group. These include the "Lansing Guild of High Theatre" with a comedy about a theater group putting on a holiday show; and two other original scripts being performed for the first time. The "Pinkerton" script is a continuation of a series performed by Audio Air Force in previous shows and "A Midwinter Madrigal" is an original script written by a member of AAF and also being performed for the first time.
The show is scheduled for Friday December 6 at the Hannah Community Center in East Lansing at 7pm.
The Audio Air Force is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that promotes writing producing and educating about audio theater. This includes recreating classic radio and audio productions along with encouraging the production of new original audio theater scripts and productions.
