About this Event
Join us for an in-person, hands-on workshop at the Orbach Library (Room 122) and learn the essentials of Audacity, a free and user-friendly audio editing and recording software that’s perfect for beginners.
This session will introduce participants to the program’s basic functions and demonstrate how they can be applied in real projects, such as podcasting, music editing, and voice recording. Whether you are interested in starting a podcast, cleaning up audio for class projects, or experimenting with sound production, this workshop will give you the confidence to get started.
UCR students, staff, and faculty are all welcome. Participants may bring their own laptops with Audacity preloaded or use one of the laptops provided during the workshop. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to explore the possibilities of audio editing.
- All UCR community members are welcome to attend. Make sure to register with your UCR email. Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants. Participants are expected to follow and uphold .
