Auckland YEPN - Powering up the energy transition
Simpson Grierson and the Young Energy Professionals Network are excited to host the next YEPN event of the year in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland!
Join us as we delve into the challenges and opportunities facing the sector when it comes to building the significant amounts of renewable electricity generation required to transition Aotearoa New Zealand to a net zero carbon future.
Simpson Grierson will be kicking off the evening with an overview of the current state of play in the renewables market and provide insight into the types of projects they are getting involved in. Following that, we're lucky enough to be joined by a panel of diverse industry experts across the renewables space:
- Aimee Sandilands - Head of Legal and Property, Manawa Energy
- Nathan Turner - Country Manager, BlueFloat Energy
- Matt Dobbs - Director, Structured and Project Finance, Westpac
- Karen Boyes - Executive Director, Major Electricity Users Group (MEUG)
