About this Event
We are inviting all community members, organizations, and leaders interested in fostering a Compassionate Communities Network in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) to join us for this pivotal hui. This is an opportunity to collaborate, discuss, and explore how we can build a regional network that promotes compassionate end-of-life care and wellbeing in our communities.
Hui Objectives:
- Determine who is keen to contribute to creating a regional Compassionate Communities Network.
- Explore roles, support, and potential structures for the network.
- Set goals and establish an initial action plan.
Hui Agenda:
- Overview from the Rotorua Compassionate Communities Hui: Updates on the formation of a national network.
- Discussion on the Framework: Can Auckland become a Compassionate City?
- Collaborative session to explore leadership, structure, and next steps for the regional network.
- Group networking and morning tea.
Format:
This hui will be run on two dates (December 5th & 7th) to accommodate different schedules. Attendees are required to register and select their preferred date. If attendance is low on one date, we may cancel and schedule a follow-up session in February 2025.
