Join other Christians in practical creation care.- Planting and other restoration work 9:30-12 noon - followed by communal lunch (can bring something for yourself, or something to share)
- 111 Bethells Road, opp. Fire Station (approx. 35 mins drive from central Auckland).
- Suitable for all ages and activity levels, with all equipment provided (gloves, spades etc.).
- You’ll need sturdy shoes and weather suitable clothing, and a drink and snack will be available.
- Facemasks encouraged but not required – vaxx passes not required

Driving out to Bethells Beach, after you’ve passed through some of the Waitakere Ranges, there’s a bush reserve and native plant nursery, just two years old, that is managed by a group of people connected with Forest and Bird. We are so pleased to be able to add to the work being done in this important lowland reserve that is protecting and creating habitat for matuku (bittern), pateke (brown teal duck), puweto (spotless crake), kereru (NZ pigeon) and many other bird and insect species.
