Travelling to Auckland for the last time this year! This class will be held in Manukau.
Are you ready to take charge of your car and learn precious knowledge, traditionally based in an almost exclusively male-dominated industry? Join me in a car maintenance workshop for women.
Get the girls together and come join us for a fun morning of hands-on mechanics, where we teach women of all ages the basics of their vehicle.
This class allows women and girls to be able to learn about their vehicle in a safe, fun, supportive, and judgement-free environment.
Courses are strictly limited to small groups to ensure quality and the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like. I want you to leave my class feeling comfortable, empowered, and in control of your driving future.
What the afternoon involves:
-A 2.5hr hands-on class with like-minded women where I will show you how to check your engine oil, coolant levels, air filter, brake and power-steering fluid; how to jump start a vehicle; changing light bulbs and wiper blades; how to safely jack up a vehicle; checking tyre pressures and changing a wheel.
-A takeaway essentials start-up kit, filled with lots of goodies. (Valued at $80) Thanks to Repco, CRC and Car solutions.
-A draw on the day where we do a time trial to jack the vehicle and remove a wheel, which could win you a prize pack, thanks to Repco and CRC.
-There will be a break in-between for snacks, refreshments, and any questions
-Your own sticker for record keeping of the type of oil and tyre pressures your car should be running
-A booklet with all the information and help to be able to reference
-Charcuterie board and refreshments
$140 per person. Limited to eight people per class.
