Youth 5-18 are invited to these new, staff-led 4-H meeting. Auburn meeting will be every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 248 Grant Ave from 5:30-6:30. Every month a new subject and activity will be covered. Topics for the 2025-2026 year include:Learning about the life cycle of plants and making a pressed leaf and flower lantern.
Basic bird identification and using hand tools to make a bird feeder.
Build code to run a Lego robot.
Planting and growing your own edible herb garden.
Projects started in these meetings can be entered in the 2026 4-H youth fair. Great opportunity for youth to get to know 4-H and investigate their "sparks" or new areas of interest. Youth may attend one, some, or all meetings and may start attending at any time during the year.
Attendance is free and all materials are provided. Youth under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult. Open to all interested youth - enrollment in 4-H is highly encouraged but only required for entering the youth fair or using 4-H experience on an application. Registration is encouraged but not required.
