DFW Unicycle Club will participate in the 39th Annual Aubrey Peanut Festival Parade on Saturday, October 4, 2025.Please note that this event will replace the regular monthly meeting at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, Plano since it would be on the same day.
This year's parade theme is "Once Upon a Peanut"! Think of ideas for your float that are fairy tale themed. Bonus points, if your float features peanuts. All parade entries can win one of 5 trophies:
1. Mayors Choice
2. Most School Spirit
3. Most Creative
4. Peanuttiest Spirit
5. Best Business
Check-in begins at 8:00-9:00 AM
The parade will begin in the Aubrey Middle School parking lot.
All parade participants line up at the Aubrey Middle School on FM 428.
As you arrive, please be patient with parade volunteers and follow their directions.
If you are dropping off riders, please drop off in parking lot in front of the Aubrey Middle School.
Judging Begins at 9:15 a.m. Entries arriving after the judging has started will not be included in the judging.
The parade beings at 10AM.

PARADE ROUTE:
The parade route distance is about 1.4 miles.
Start at the Middle School along FM 428/Sherman Dr., turn right at Main St., turn right at Chestnut Dr., turn right into Brockett parking Lot. Parade riders will be dropped off at back entrance to Brockett Elementary once your riders are off their float continue straight to Countryside to exit. Parents picking up participants need to park in the front parking lot of Brockett Elementary and be ready to take their child as they exit the float.
All parade entries will then follow Countryside Dr. to Highmeadow Dr. and return to their homes or places of business by Highway 377. No parade entries will be allowed to drive on Highway 377 with parade riders on floats.

Once your child has been dropped off at the Aubrey Middle School please proceed to park at Brockett Elementary for pick up before the parade starts.
