Join us for the G7 Challenge to Yong BelarAre you ready to push your limits and experience one of the most exhilarating hikes of your life? Join us for the G7 Challenge to Yong Belar, where you will summit one of Malaysia's highest peaks within one day! This is a challenging hike for experienced hikers only - as you should be physically and mentally ready for:
Hike Distance: ~16km
Hike Duration: ~12hours
Elevation Gain: ~1600m
Highest Altitude: 2180m
Standing at 2180m and the third highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia, it will be a most rewarding achievement for the adventurous hiker to complete this G7 summit within a day. The undulating terrain is physically demanding and the long hike duration is a true testament of your endurance. If you have always want to challenge yourself to a G7 summit, Yong Belar will be a perfect start before you tackle the next multi-day G7 trek.
The G7 Challenge is more than just a hike - it is a journey shared with like-minded hikers. This will be where we will forge new friendships and bonds as we support and motivate one another to reach the top...
ITINERARY:
Day 0: 26 July (Fri night)
2100 - Meet at Marsiling MRT. Depart for Lojing Highlands.
Day 1: 27 July (Sat)
0430 - Reach Rest Stop. Have breakfast and pack light lunch
0630 - Arrive at meeting point in Lojing Highland. Take 4WD to trailhead
0730 - Arrive at trailhead. Briefing & warm-up.
0800 - Start Hike
0930 - Simpang Perlaur. Cut-off time applies at this point (approx. before 1100 - TBD on day itself). Those who miss the cut-off time will not proceed to the Pelaur Waterfall.
1130 - Kem Kasut. Re-group, break for lunch
1300 - Resume hike - summit attack
1345 - Summit Yong Belar! Cut-off time applies at this point (approx. before 1500 - TBD on day itself). Those who miss the cut-off time will need to turn back.
1530 - Start Descent
2000 - End of Hike
2030 - 4WD transfer back to meeting point at Lojing Highlands
2130 - Arrive at Lojing Highlands start point. Wash-Up.
2230 - Depart for late dinner (provided).
2345 - Depart for hotel in Cameron Highlands. Check-in and rest!
Day 2: 28 July (Sun)
TBC Breakfast / Check-out. F&E.
1300 Depart to Singapore
2100 Arrive in Singapore / Marsiling MRT
