ATWATER-DONNELLY at Perkasie Patchwork, CONCERT (7:30pm) & Mountain Dulcimer WORKSHOP (4pm)Perkasie Patchwork Coffeehouse is thrilled to welcome Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly to the November coffeehouse on Saturday, November 15, 2025 which features an evening concert at 7:30 pm as well as an special afternoon workshop at 4 pm. Award-winning, internationally acclaimed duo, Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly present delightful programs of traditional American and Celtic folk songs and percussive dance. Elwood and Aubrey blend gorgeous harmonies and play an astonishing array of instruments including guitar, Appalachian mountain dulcimer, mandolin, tin whistle, harmonica, banjo, limberjacks, and other surprises including a thrilling interpretation of freestyle Appalachian clog dancing. Their performance is appealing to all ages, and with humor, audience participation, and a relaxed stage presence, Aubrey and Elwood explain song origins to give more relevance to the material. Married since 1989, Aubrey and Elwood perform widely in the United States and abroad and their fourteen recordings receive international airplay and streaming.
The Perkasie Patchwork Coffeehouse is a ministry of the Perkasie Mennonite Church. The coffeehouse is warm and cozy, with lots of atmosphere. It is a place where people can enjoy fellowship and see some of the best performers available up close and personal, in an intimate setting. Perkasie Patchwork Coffeehouse is located in the church fellowship hall, which is air conditioned and handicap accessible.
Evening concert Admission: $15 for adults; $12 for seniors 65 & up; students 13 and up, $8; 12 and under free. All ticket sales at door, no advance sales, no reservations. Delicious desserts and drinks are available. The doors open at 7:00 and performances begin at 7:30.

A portion of our proceeds for the evening concert will go to a local nonprofit organization. You can also drop off donations of non-perishable food at all our concerts for Pennridge FISH (Fellowship in Serving Humanity), our local non-profit food pantry and clothing outlet here in Perkasie.
AFTERNOON WORKSHOP – Mountain Dulcimer Repertoire and Technique Workshop with Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly. Expand your dulcimer technique and repertoire in this information-packed session of exciting, funny, and beautiful songs. We will cover fingerpicking, percussive strumming, tunings, harmony, ornamentation, three and four equally distant strings, arranging, and more. Aubrey and Elwood’s “song by song” approach, both by ear and with written music and tab, will get you building skills with each piece. We will also enjoy the backstory and culture of the mountain dulcimer, including root songs and stories from the Carter Family, Jean Ritchie, and other sources.
