Zsofia Tardy is a jazz singer and music educator based in Portland. She earned her BMus and MMus degrees from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. With over 30 years in the music industry, she has performed as a lead singer in various genres, including jazz, pop, rock, and gospel, and she sings in multiple languages. Zsofia serves as the Professor of Jazz Voice at Lewis & Clark College and operates a home studio in SW Portland. She has also guest taught at Western Oregon University and in Nanning, China.
Attila Csikos, also from Portland, is a multi-genre guitarist, educator, and composer with an MMus from Western Oregon University and a BMus from the Liszt Academy. He has performed in numerous bands and major musical theater productions. In 2023, he held a successful solo guitar concert at the PDX Jazz Festival. Currently, Attila is an Adjunct Professor of Guitar at Clackamas Community College and teaches online in Hungary, with a teaching career spanning over 25 years. Many of his former students are now professional musicians.
Bill Athens is an accomplished performer on both double bass and electric bass, having worked as a professional musician for over 20 years in the Pacific Northwest. He studied with Ken Baldwin (Oregon Symphony), Glen Moore (Oregon), Dan Schulte (Jazz Bassist), and Dave Captein (Jazz Bassist). Bill is a music graduate of Portland State University and he has performed in a diverse range of genres, from Classical and Jazz to Rock and studio recording. Bill has been a long-time music educator, teaching at George Fox University, Clark Community College, University of Portland, The Great Basin Jazz Camp, and Lewis and Clark College.
Adam Carlson is a Bend, OR native now living in Portland, Oregon as a freelance musician. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 2014 with a bachelors degree in Jazz Studies (Cum Laude), and has performed hundreds of times around the Northwest. Adam also spent a year in New York City where he honed his playing style to include jazz, soul, latin, funk, rock, and pop. He has played drums on numerous albums, and has performed with many different Oregon and New York musicians, and University of Oregon faculty members. Adam also teaches all ages, skill levels, and styles.
Online ticket purchases close one hour before showtime. If the show is NOT sold out, and tickets remain, they can be purchased directly at the box office door. Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime.
